About Me
Hi, I’m Rodrigo, and I fix things—it’s what I’ve always done.
My journey started as a kid, taking apart toys just to see how they worked, then piecing them back together. By my teens, I was hooked. I spent my days in technology classes and my free time salvaging discarded bicycles from the trash, turning them into rides I could sell. After high school, I trained for three years as an auto mechanic, followed by three more repairing and installing garage doors and loading docks.
Then I hit the road. Since 2005, I’ve logged over 2 million kilometers behind the wheel, driving everything from tractor-trailers to construction rigs to commuter buses. Every mile taught me something new. Alongside that, I was a homeowner from 2006 to 2023, diving into home improvement projects whenever I could. My first taste of demolition? Converting my parents’ garage den back into a garage in grade 8. during my high school years, we rebuilt our entire kitchen and basement, and I pitched in on countless smaller projects along the way.
In January 2020, I launched Cunha Fix It, bringing my skills to hundreds of people who needed help with home repairs and maintenance. From tinkering with toys to tackling complex systems, I’ve spent my life learning how things work—and how to make them work better. Let me put that experience to work for you.
